Grand Tourmalet ski area opens

Bareges and the Grand Tourmalet ski area will be opening this Saturday 13th December.

30 cms of fresh snow fell last night, there is now good cover across the whole ski area, with snow in the village of Bareges itself.

Here is the new ‘tapis’ at the Tournaboup beginners area taken this morning, they didn’t quite get the roof on in time.

Snow depth officially measured with Christian’s measure, he is putting the finishing joinery touches to the new Ecoloski office.
