The Col du Tourmalet opened today (5th May) for the summer.

It is the highest road pass in the Pyrenees at 2115 metres.

During the winter it is buried in snow and parts of it are actually a ski run – the Grand Tourmalet ski area.

So cyclists… get training, we look forward to seeing you in Bareges!
