Some local ski resorts here in the Pyrenees are claiming to have the most snow anywhere in the world, 6m50 on the high runs at Cauterets and Saint Lary.
Here in Bareges it seems to have snowed non-stop throughout January and February.
So we have stupendous skiing conditions across the whole Bareges ski area with now just a couple of runs closed for avalanche risk.
360 cms of groomed snow cover on the higher runs, 240 cms on the very lowest.
AND the sun is back and forecast to stay a while – come and enjoy – Bareges has fabulous ski conditions
