Just popped out to Gèdre for an hour, under blue skies and sunshine, what a glorious start to June. I was really quite surprised to come across more than 15 species of butterflies including, Small Pearl-bordered Fritillary, Clouded Apollo, Sooty Copper, Chequered Skipper, Little Blues, Brown Argus, Large Wall, Green Hairstreak, Brimstone, Orange Tip with still a few Camberwells flying. If I could have stayed out longer I could probably have seen more.
