A beautiful day at Gavarnie with Andrea…
Superb flowers with thousands of purple Iris carpeting the meadows and Saxifraga longifolia dripping off every rock face.
It felt we were walking through clouds of butterflies at times, notably we found Gavarnie Blue (photo), Glandon Blue and my first Pyrenean Brassy Ringlets of the summer.
